I was introduced to Haiku purely by chance when I joined iAuthor late last year. Since then, my interest in and love for Haiku has grown. It takes ten minutes to learn but a lifetime to master.
Most of my large garden is wild, and full of insects, reptiles, small mammals and birds. When I sit behind my computer I catch the north view and a couple of carob trees. For many years now, a resident little owl (Athene noctua) always sits in one of those trees, maybe even nests nearby? This year for the first time I caught a glimpse of her mate. They are so well camouflaged it is hard to see them at all unless, they move their heads.
